When I was 18 in 1969 I went to Jack's Driving School in Brooklyn, $100 for 10 lessons. He immediately put me in the driver's seat and I shot out into traffic, horns beeping at me. He had a brake on his side of the passenger seat which he liberally used. I drove into Manhattan and across bridges, up Riverside Drive. It was exhilarating. Then before taking the road test my instructor told me to wear a short skirt, which I did and I passed.
parallel parking my best driving skill. all my worst driving moments (including various speeding/red light camera tickets🙃) have come when i was low blood sugar. honestly a hazard worst than texting!
I am good at parallel parking btw
