Housekeeping about books
Remember when I said we’d read the next two Gormenghast books in late July and August? Well, that was something I said with the delusions of a person who did not yet know they would have mononucleosis for a month.
Here’s my new thought: Let’s do Gormenghast in September and Titus Alone in October. There won’t be weekly discussion posts; there will just be two big posts at the end of the month where we can all talk and reflect and joke and type out big paragraphs while sitting with the book half-open in our laps. This time, I’ll stick to the schedule for real, and I WON’T be getting mono again!
I didn’t get my homework in on time
Through the misfortune of a combination of cascading, daily deadlines and having a few bigger projects all due this week, I have neglected all of the half-written paragraphs I’d intended for this week’s magazine, leaving me somewhat blank. Well, whatever! It happens! Consider this your week off from dealing with me, or you’re welcome to use the comments section here to suggest future issues or do a light AM(almost)A so long as well all keep stuff normal around here. I’ll be back next Wednesday with the 1200 words I write every week and a much less overflowing inbox!!!
unrelated, but great job at the Q and A for Rap World!! I can’t believe they cut your scene though…
god bless all of you graduate students. I did mine at night while working full time which was great because it was free* but was awful because i was…working full time while going to school at night. don’t recommend!! except the free part that was sick
