Vibe check

Is everyone staying cool? Calm? Collected? Or do these long heat waves inspire panic? Or do you live somewhere where it’s not hot and you’re otherwise holding your breath until the real estate market where you live gets all jumbled up?

I don’t love the heat, but I find myself less panicked about it than usual. It’s scary, to be sure, and not indicative of anything good, but I try to curb my activity and stay in the shade and otherwise try not to let it get to me. In past summers, I have really gone stupid the second the temperature goes above 90. Sometimes that’s just avoided by staying in my own house.
